can anyone recommend me some great books i can purchase to take my studies in web design further??

You could just look up tutorials on the internet, but there are many books out there. Maybe have a look at web design for dummies, it has a lot of good tips and code/software. Don't be fooled by the name! It is actually an in-depth and good book!

sure thanks man. tutorials I feel are not too in depth hence I prefer to read a book as oppsed to it. i use tutorials for just a crash course and a good book as a path to mastery. Not forgetting practice
