any idea about how to insert data to mysql with python?

i want to write a program to scan the network (simple network scanner) and then insert the data to mysql.
any idea about how to start this?

i have not worked much in on the betwork part of that but you can use file.write and then have that right to the sql file table code (if that makes sense) and have python write the SQL code for you. I have not tried this but it is my best idea.
