Responsive web design is making your website user friendly on any device be it a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone. Picture a website on a computer. If you were to try and squeeze all that into a mobile screen, everything would be tiny and not user friendly. Responsive design alters the layout of a website so that everything fits on a mobile screen without being too small and without having to scroll horizontally.
