how can i make to an search button when clicked to slide over an cover image and make it smaller to win space for search place and to make that smaller while is changed to another photo ?? please help me how to do that ..

there is a cover image next to it is the search button , and when i click that button , the cover gets smaller while search box slides to open for search place , at the same time the image is changed from cover to a small image

You'll have to make some changement through css3, go search on state before,after for your "smaller", and about your function when button clicked, you'll need go through javascript (just put your script in html code with <script></script> or through a link in the header).
