Am i really learning here...?

everything this app teaches is dope and I can say with confidence that I know what everything means and "how to do it" since the show you where to place what. but I tried to code part of a game am making and I didn't even know HOW TO START!!! how do you REALLY learn language?????

I would argue you don't understand the language if you can't put code together in it. Instead, I'd say your memorizing.
You need to practice putting code together with projects.

Try making something like Hangman, without the UI. (Not on Unity, just CodePlayground or some IDE)

You could try for Unity, but you will need to learn the libraries and lots of things related to Unity.This may build on the course, which is a problem if you cannot Make things happen with just the course material itself.

Make sure you are fully capable of putting code together before jumping straight into It, otherwise scripting may not be your strong suit in Unity.
