I would like to take a career in programing video games, although i don't know where to begin learning. Can someone tell me a few languages to learn and what languages to start out with to help me with my career. Thanks much appreciated.

i would recommend You to start with c++ and c# because those are the Main languages used by Unreal Engine and Unity.

You should learn Lua first (just to get an idea, since Lua isn't very hard).

And then work your way up to harder languages like Java and C++. Also, a little bit of Swift won't hurt you either.
