C++ as a first language!

hello to everyone! i started C++ because i want assemle arduino devices by myself, modify existing code, write my own one, e t c. So i have question- for what else the C++ use to? where i can applicate it in our time? I like PLC, industry application, automation. И всем, кто понимает русский язык, дополнительный привет!)

I think there are so many ways C++ can be used for development, aside from what you mentioned, so far I have come to know that it is used for development of O/S (including drivers & services for it), system utilities, compression utilities, audio/video codecs, disk utilities, network utilities etc. Even antivirus and game developers use the language, many more, I think there are many other places too where it can be used that I'm not aware of, since it's a general purpose programming language.
