Can we use Java on computers like how we use them on androids too?

I had known that Java is commonly used for apps in android so I wondered, can they also be used in computers too?

in what way. your question is not clear
if you are asking how to run them without jdk like without installing them then no. for android your jbytecodes are compiled into apk so as to run'em on android. in windows you can ship jre with your software.
