So.. we wanna know is: which language should we learn to make softwares to run in Microsoft Windows or Apple Sierra ?

I've saw one time, my parent are photographer, and he runs a code (he have made the code), that into Photoshop it opens a image from a specified folder, resized it and save too.

Was a simple code, but I and @Oni wanna know how to create applications or softwares to run into common systems.
