What is the difference between HTML and HTML5? kindly tell me in detail ?

Coming from a college course in HTML: If I'm not mistaken, HTML5 is just a more "up to date" version with more features. I prefer XHTML which is stricter, but doesn't have those goodies.

<blink> tag is not working

I know some additions include <header> and <footer> tags so those don't have to be done with <divs>. I forget the rest though, sorry.

In the class I took, we never used a <blink> tag. The best thing to do is Google "<blink> is not working".
