phpMyAdmin -connecting on your windows machine

Hi

When logging into phpMyAdmin

username : root
password : left blank

Does anyone else has this problem.

"Login Without a password is forbidden by configuration(see AllowNoPassword)"

I've watched the video and I've never seen phpmyadmin set up this way before.

I use phpmyadmin as part of xamp apache server package and never have problems logging in.

Are you using xampp?
