What should I learn next

So I've been learning java for a while and I think I have all the basics figured out. So, I'm thinking of learning a new language. I have in mind python and C++. Which one should I learn since I have previously dealt with java? OR should I just continue learning java?

It depends on what you want to use the languages for ??? If you have a grasp on a language do some research and create small programs and contribute to the open source and programming community. Goodluck.
