How do you compile a java program called ExampleProgram.java

Ive tried" javac ExampleProgram.java" but it doesnt work

What is the error? Did you set the environment variables and how old are you(just for reference)..:D

for new comers I personally recommend you to use Eclipse Ide, you don't need to use Console to run program. It will become easy to write code as well as you grow with java you need a ide to make a GUI application.
