Whats the best laptop for programming? Pc or mac?

Im trying to decide which OS eg. linux or what platform is ideal for programming. Im leaning towards a macbook air with unix and xcode etc...

Macbook Pro if your fancy and want capable software and hardware capabilities be prepared to spend over 3,500 $$ Google chromebook with upgraded ram for the cheap but a solid piece for programmers. I paid 350 $ for my mine and it works well for Python. its your choice.

@Dwain Aiolupotea Yes rhe chromebook is fully capable to handle most of a programmers needs. Mine compiles and executes all the Python code i write just fine. i also broke my MacBook pro and it will cost me 850$$ to replace the screen so thats on hold. Goodluck.

@Mcqueen hey thanks for that. A macbook pro would be my dream machine if I could afford it. In my country its really expensive, close to 3k to 5k. Thats ridiculous. Right now, im going to consider a chromebook as i dont have loads of cash lying around.

@Mcqueen I also broke my pc laptop screen too. Im using a cheap under powered hp stream 11.6 laptop lol
