Php or Ruby on Rails???

I wanna be a back end developer. I just need to know which language is easy and market friendly?

PHP has more support between different Hosting. And some PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc) have a high labor demand RoR is newer and has less expanded support among Hosting providers. I do not know how it is now but before Ruby could penalize the performance of a web app, since it is a bit slow Even so the decision is yours, I like Ruby much more than PHP and recently I have been practicing with the Sinatra gem, which has allowed me to do basic things with Ruby and HTML

It is hard to say which one is better. Each language has its own pros and cons. Just try them and you will have your answer. Actually it does not take more than a week to complete a course in SoloLearn. Happy coding!
