I know where I'm located the C# .Net framework is huge for medical and manufacturing. (I'm a C# Dev) but then like for literally everything else where I'm at it's all Java.

In Atlanta, GA - USA, the top languages I'm constantly being recruited for are C# .NET, NodeJS, and some Java. I get a fair amount of side work for WordPress development as well. For some reason, I don't see a lot of Python activity in my area. I wonder if it's a regional thing or maybe I've just not noticed it amid the many unsolicited jobs that flood my inbox.

Well, that depends on where you want to work. In big companies and game dev the most used are of course C#, C++ and Java. But software houses and web dev uses mostly JavaScript, PHP and Python (and some Java/Swift for mobile) There is so much work for programmers that if you know any popular language and are good at it, you should be able to find a job.
