My opinion on SoloLearn is that it's okay. Not the best resource I've used, but far from the worst also. I enjoy that it does its best to incorporate active learning rather than passive learning, which I believe is very critical for the learning process and your means of being able to retain the information effectively. So having quizzes during the lesson, hands-on practice, challenges, etc... does a lot to help people learn, so that's a big plus from me. However, even if it can't run in the Code Playground, you should still mention certain concepts - such as how C# and Java don't mention threads at all, even though threads is something that's very important for you to know how to use properly. Just one example of many, but in all fairness, word on the street is they're on the cusp of releasing some major updates. With that being said, I'm not on SoloLearn to learn from the courses. My main purpose here on SoloLearn is to simply help out other people who are here learning, which is why you all always see me in the discussion area making replies. Honestly, I'm not sure why, but I feel compelled (or addicted maybe?) to help out here. It's nothing like StackOver, but maybe something about the fresh faces wanting to learn programming makes me happy, who knows.
