I read on the internet that many games make u uninteligent ...and others increase your Inteligence is that true??

I read on the internet that many games make u uninteligent and stop your brain of thinking like (minecraft&GTA)...and others increase your Inteligence and make u smar and intellegent
the problem is I wanna be very very excellent in programing and ethical haking and of course I need to be intellegent and smart
Is this true or not??

I don't think that any game will decrease intelligence. If you play a simple or "mindless" game you just don't develop where others (who maybe do other things) do.

In my opinion GTA will improve you on a strategic lvl. Where Minecraft probably also improves spatial awareness.

I believe games are like books. They contain information about specific subjects and possible senarios of everyday life. When you have processed enough relevant information you will become more experienced in that specific area. When you use and test this new knowledge in your everyday life you will become more intelligent.

Playing puzzle games possibly will improve your ability to broaden your options in logically solve programming issues.

If you play many games you will develop serveral skills. Maybe at a slower rate than when you focus on 1 game which will improve a few specific skills.
