Pls tell me why we cant use iostream in C??

because it is a C++ library
use stdio.h instead, with printf, scanf, ...

Because iostream is an object of ios class....and classes are not introduced in C...hence iostream can't be used in C....if u want u can try in Turbo C3...but an error will occur
