what is difference between strong and bold

The bold format will remain the same on every browser, while the strong will change depending on how the browser is instructed to interpret the strong format ( these days you will not notice any difference since all browser make the strong format appear bold, but some programs that read the text of a web page for blind people, will emphasize the word with a strong format, letting know the people listening that those words are important, while with the bold format it will read it as normal text)

They may look the same to humans, but the web crawlers or bots – that crucial second audience – see something quite different. When a search engine spiders and analyzes a page, text in <strong> tags is considered important. Text in <b> tags is not.
