Agree with everyone here. The best way is practice. This is how you memorize things. There is no other way, this is the only one.

after you are save in basics, read something about concepts. try recursion, functional programming..,

What would be the best programmer you need, as I wrote "practice" because practice is the best part of our life, first try to write small codes, then you will not stop you will write big codes! Always look for ways to learn the best, if you notice a good code and pass it by the old man, just study it, at the same time you will remember it, and will practice! The most important thing is practice! :)
