If you want to make an AI you have to learn machine learning. Sololearn recently introduced machine learning course from where you can learn basics.

When it comes to choosing language for ML, python, R, Julia is there even you can use c++. But python is better because of its easiness.

Python would be easier but I don’t recommend any language that uses an interpreter for complicated tasks like AI because it would be very slow. I would personally use C++.
