I am going to learn C/C++ for understanding the basics of programming then i will move into python is it right step i am taking.

i want to learn python for network security and software development........

No, that’s probably the opposite of what you want to do. C and C++ are both fairly hard languages and you should already know the basics of programming when you learn them, and I don’t think Python would be nearly as hard because it uses an interpreter instead of a compiler, but I don’t know Python, so it could be hard. For an easy language to start, try Java.

but my programming sir says that if u waana learn basics of any programming language u can learn C/C++ and C/C++ is in my syllabus.....
