Is being strong in maths compulsory for solving challenges or programs?

I am little weak in maths, so I can not solve some challenges quickly. I just wanted to confirm that being strong in maths compulsory or not! Any tips on improving it for programming will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No, you just need to know and understand how the math operator works in those programming languages. Just think slowly anyway or use a calculator, no one is rushing you.

Most of the time, the math isn't really heavy. But, if you are looking to be professional, then some algorithms will need lots of math. Also, thise that are hiring will look for people who have good scores in math.
