Honestly, you're going to have to learn them all pretty much since they all intersect eventually on different devices, w different codes written by people w different preferences.
The basics though are like Elizabeth mentioned, what you see (front end) and how data is stored/processed (back end).

•HTML & CSS,
•Javascript/jQuery
•sql,php,python

Probably in that order.

Just MAKE SURE that you're learning the latest versions of each.Yes, they each have versions :-P

p.s. Keep in mind that designing & developing are VERY different.
