What is SVG in HTML 5?

I still need practice coding, just curious if this is a way of combining media outlets, like with a language script, perhaps.

SVG means "Scalable Vector Graphic". So, with PNG or JPG, it would distprt as you zoom in. However, SVGs are able to zoom in and still be crystal clear. For wevsutes, you could have a function that will make the image dimensions bigger (therefore stretching it), and the SVG will never distort.
