Is any one learning coding even though their professional life does not involve coding?

It’s hard to find an example but coding somehow change my approach to other problems. Instead of diving headfirst to them, I start to think of the strategy, the core of them. I hope a quote from Steve Jobs might make you feel better ‘Everyone should learn to program a computer because it teaches you how to think’😉

I didn’t start coding as a computer enthusiast but now it totally changed my mind. I liked biology as well as computer so I don’t think it matters what your job is. Beside, coding can definitely bring you a lot more jobs in the future.
