Since HTML is really easy and sololearn provides you with a lot of easy understandable and helpful information, you can easily create your fist web pages after a hour... Obviously even HTML can get quite complicated as well; especially when you start to include JS and CSS. But all in all html is probably the easiest course...

Nobody can really give you an accurate answer. The amount of time it'll take you to learn it is based on you; how much effort you put into it. You can learn it in an hour. But, you could also learn it in a month. It depends on you.

I learned it (the entire course) in about a week. Thats probably typical for most people. That said, its entirely up to you because i think i could have done it in a single 5 hour block or less. The real question though isnt how long will it take to learn, its how long will it take to master it. Remember, building a website is more than just HTML, its also CSS and Javascript (if you want animations).

to start an average website, you need to know p, a, h1-h6, form, table, img, ul, ol, br, hr and div. and then switch to CSS
