Who here is only learning web? If so, why?

I'm only learning web so I could just stay focused on just web and not get it confused with the others.

Because of an opening for that job atm, I am going to then move on to gaming development which was my original plan.

For now, I am only learning Web development and design as bare bones also, as a stepping stone for future advancements.

My target is Full-Stack and once this is fully in my court, I'll be good to roll into other technologies. Most notably but limited to AI, Data Science and Machine learning.

Most of all the above technologies revolve around the web, (apps) and they're continuously evolving and technology continues to undergo numerous changes and evolution.

My why is that most of what we're going to see in the near future are web apps and almost if not all things will be housed and migrated to the so-called cloud.
"Who doesn't want to be apart of new technology?" Well, not me.
