Do i have to write codes and notes on a notebook to learn?

I am learning only online without noting anything. I think, it is not really needed. is it? Can somebody point out how can writing codes on notebook help different from only online learning?

start doing simple codes more and more for the topic under study, you ll know what to write and what to skip yourself,
you ll HV to find it yourself, don't worry it ll come to you naturally

write useful concepts and important syntax and programm structures for future references in ur notebook , and specially if ur studying from web

you must to write what do you learn but this is not enough you must to coded what you learn

For me every thing is worth writing. I cant distinguish what to write and what to not ???
Any advice regarding this is most welcome
