What goal should I set for myself to stay motivated?

Question

I just started learning python after some light encouragement from a friend. I don't have a programming background but I used to build websites for fun as a teenager in the nineties so I know html ok. I figure I am a long way from being able to make money as a programmer (something I feel like I should explore as a side gig) so what's a good goal or milestone I should reach for in the meantime and what's a realistic time frame to do it in?
