What do you think is the best programming language to start with as a beginner?

Many educational institutions teach students c++ as their first programming language. Which, for some reason, make some students hate programming and think it is rather complicated and hard topic. What do you think? Do you think teaching a simpler programming language (like Python) is a better choice?

C++ is complicated. Pointers are hard to explain to people who didn't start to think like coders. Python is intuitive and guides you through programming, but it is powerful enough to suit most programs that can be slow. However, using Python will make it harder to learn other syntaxes because it is unusual. JavaScript is quite similar to Python but it has a braces and semicolons syntax, similar to most programming languages. Also, using HTML and CSS, it can be learned visually unlike other programming languages.
