which one is better and what is the difference besides the syntax?

HTML & HTML5 is one language (Hyper Text Markup Language).

HTML : The main version of HTML
(Old Version)

HTML5 : Updated version of HTML
(New Version)

,so what's difference between them?
Answer : HTML5 is new version of HTML with new added tags (Header, Footer, Section, Article, etc...) & remove some tags of HTML old version or (ignore it). And fix some bugs which make work for designers more easily.

well html is basically the markup language and HTML5 is its version number 5.. and it is the latest one
