HTML

Using only HTML you can create only static websites correct? Can we call any functions using only HTML?

While my knowledge of the front-end websites is reasonably complete, I don't know any back-end stuff. Creating a form and collecting the message in JavaScript wouldn't be hard at all. Afterwards, I have no clue what to do with it.

HTML by itself can't even make a nice looking static website as that ability has been moved to CSS. Functions are not part of HTML.

Thank you. What are some functions? I understand and can code a blog (display texts) and now I would like to add to form where people can submit messages. How do I go forward

Normal sequence is HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for complete front-end knowledge.
