Looking for some career advice.

Hi everyone, I’m an experienced data analyst working in retail. I have 5 years experience of being analyst in several different roles and with lots of different tools. I feel like for the last 2 years I haven’t progressed at all and now I feel stunted because I’m not getting to interview stage for anything. This is why I have started to learn SQL. It is very easy so I’m shocked that people wouldn’t just interview me and see what I was capable of. Anybody have any suggestions to improve my CV further?

I don't even know what data analysts do, or the tools they use, but considering your experience, I think it's their loss they skip you from the list. About the CV thing, I guess you need to emphasize on the parts where it explains the benefits your skills and knowledge brought to the clients, try not to sound like feeling heroic or overconfidence though, I mean, they won't be interested unless they see clearly what value they gain should they "invest" on you anyway. Better luck next time : )

Yeas thank you Kunal! I have done that. I have a job but I just want to develop my career. So that’s why I asked if there’s “Any suggestions to improve my cv?” Skill wise. Not help writing it.
