What do you do when your pc hangs while coding without saving your code?

Autosave could be helpful, but have also a dark side: you get less easily the habit to do regular manual backups (where you know the state of your code when saved) ;P

here i save the code first by writing some lines bcz one day i lose a piece of code which i made after some efforts //its better to save changes u make â˜ș

I swear and scream loudly, I turn off computer, and try to think to another thing for at least a few hours, and then I redo ^^ Along with (bad) experiences, we will reduce the number of times this is happening, and the quantity of unsaved code lost, by doing several intermediate backups, as keeping a lot of often never used ones, but some days, we'll be greatly happy to limit lost, even it will never preserve us from some rewriting of code (zero risk doesn't exist ;P)

[Aside] If your PC is hanging unexpectedly, check your power supply unit, incoming power and/or use battery backup; the battery technologies are usually a far superior buffer than a surge protector. Bad power (from aging capacitors [Google: "bad caps"] to bad mains power) is a major cause of unexpected flash-freezing.
