multiplication has the highest priority. and then addition. that is, 1 * 3 = 3, 1 + 3 = 4, 4 is not 6

PEMDAS. Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction. From left to right is the standard order of operations. So we have 1+3=4, not 2*3=6. To extend a little: Multiplication and division are considered equal, so whichever comes first from the left is calculated first. Same thing for addition and subtraction.

you want (1+1)*3 ==6 here i am using the parenthisis to control the order of operation otherwise without them it will do 1*3 > 1+3 > 4

Multiplication and Division are executed befire Addition and Subtraction. If multiple of the same set are found, then the operations are executed in a left-right fashion.

It’s the order of operation 1+1*3==6 You multiply first 1*3 =3 Then you add 3+1 So it would be 4, not 6

You clearly haven't paid attention to the basic lessons. Read them again.
