How do you guys feel about the MIT App Inventor?
I'm currently learning how to programme apps with it, with the intention of using Java later on. I've only just started learning Java, so I'm not up to that level yet. What do you think about it & do you think there should be a course on here teaching how to use it?

Brian Curran using the webviewer component of MIT App Inventor 2 allows you to build hybrid apps using web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, etc. This allows you to build very powerful apps because most of the running code can be located on a webserver and not in the App itself. Of course, you can also import these files to your project so that your program can run totally offline. However, connecting your App to the Internet also allows you to make http request using Ajax so with a little of imagination you can do a lot of things with this tool. There is also a very similar tool named Thunkable, though i have not used it so i can not tell which one is better.
