Array in Java and Sum

Question

int [ ] myArr = {6, 42, 3, 7};
int sum=0;
for(int x=0; x<myArr.length; ++x) {

why output is 58? we have "++x" - the step should start from 1 ! And the first elements of array is "42". The result should be 52!

Your for loop: for(int x=0; x<myArr.length; ++x)
is the same as:
int x=0;
while (x<myArr.length) {
// existing for loop code
++x;
}
so the increment only changes x after the first execution of the loop.

what you mean ? I don't understand why the metod always start from "0" if we have different step "x++" and "++x"?
