Can programming help to learn English?
Hello, I am from Russia. I am a student and I am learning English. And me interesting - can programming help to learn English? P.S.- my English is far from perfect. If you find errors, please correct them.

Hello, I am from Indonesia, I am not speaking English daily, I think programming helps only a little in improving English vocabulary, because people rarely use formal English, and it is common in codes we see abbreviations that only the coder knows what (being without any comment).
I guess you can better improve your English by reading books, listening to music, or movies (with good subtitle), programming languages indeed uses English syntactic, but really just a few common words.

I guess, not much. Programming languages are quite different from English. They are languages on their own. But the commands in JavaScript are a bit like English, so it may somewhat help.

I guess we can have conversations with anyone here, it's a community after all, my English is only for regular daily conversation, there are others here maybe native English speaking, so we can learn by reading posts and replies, add new vocabularies as we go : )
