Topic for python project suggestions??

I have just started python but in college i have to submit a project for evaluation so any topics which would be good. [difficultly level-intermediate]

There are some really good challenges in the Q + A section. They're not necessarily for Python, but most challenges will be open to any language. An example for one challenge is the 8 Queen Challenge. If that's too easy, just search 'challenge' into the Q + A section and I'm sure you'll find some harder stuff to do. Some threads will be about the challenges in the 'Play' section though, so read the titles carefully to make sure it's what you're looking for.
