Beginner learning (game)

Hello guys! I'm going to university in August, and since I'm going to stay 6 months at home, I would like to learn programming before actually going to university. So... I'm new to it, completely, then I would like to know what to you guys can give me as advice, where to start. I know I'm going to learn Java at University, do you guys thinks it's good to try learning it now as a first step?

Oh, so, is it also good trying learning C#? Before I knew I was going to be obligated to learn Java, I was taking a look at it in a course made by Microsoft
