Do you respect html platinum solo learners as programmers?

Question

A lot of people would argue html is not a programming language. A lot of people have amassed a lot of xp wealth thanks to html. what are your thoughts?

HTML is not a programming language, period.
If they only know HTML, then they can't be considered programmers.
Regarding respect, yes, we should respect them coz they're still humans and as long as they don't do anything detrimental to sololearn.

Indeed, HTML challenge is probably the fastest way to gain XP due to its popularity and less mental effort.

Anyone who acquire XP legitimately should be respected regardless whether they are heavily biased on a specific weapon/language as it's how the system was designed.

Yes we can get fast XP with it but unfortunately doing it repetitively doesn't gain us much knowledge besides fingers exercise. 😉

🏆🏆🏆Here most of the learners are too young, earning XP helps building confidence in their mind which also helps to grow interest for learning Programming languages.

If a person keeps busy with HTML for only earning XPs,they are merely wasting their opportunity to go ahead.The real world is big and more competitive.

I challenge,challenge,i don't know the question,i challenge,i cram the overrepeated questions,i challenge,i become a good challenger I challenge,know 100% of all challenge questions but only know how 30% of it works.Does that make me or implies im a good coder?

I wish there was a way challenges could be redesigned to something a bit more practical rather than just question answer. I mean Solo learn already has a code playground. A good example is how codewars does it.

Every learner here deserves respect. I meant respect in the way that you'd give to say a C++ , Java programmer or any other language. I just noticed a lot of people here are primarily HTML experts.

Well, a lot users mostly do HTML challenges coz it's the easiest one to gain xp.
Html experts are no way near the capabilities of real programmers.
Sometimes, the amount of xp of a user in HTML doesn't really reflect their true knowledge of HTML.

be it markup languages or true object (or non object) oriented languages. you can't measure your true knowledge by the challenges provided on sololearn.

the language itself is only a tool. what matters and what measures your knowledge is what you do with that language.
