[OFF-TOPIC] Why are Indian people better at programming than the rest of the world?

I observe the fact that the majority of the SoloLearn members are from India. What are the factors that they are so often involved in science? Is this their high quality school system?

That's a good observation from you but the assumption is slightly biased since it's normal to have larger group from India due to its population.

It's just my guess but I believe many Indians and other developing countries perceive IT as a good source of income due to globalization and lower living cost.

Most of them are "underpaid" in their country except those who's really talented and seek out for opportunities to earn USD from the platforms available.

China have more than enough learning sites so I guess they are hesitant to look for non-native alternatives outside of the Great FireWall of China.

No thanks. I prefer quality over quantity. Indian users here have also affirmed that the syllabus they have for CompSc courses is hideous. I wouldn't doubt that there are great Indian programmers on SoloLearn. However, "high quality school system" would be the last on the list to justify their success. They are great because of their own hard work.

Also, India has a lot of people. A lot. Almost as many as China. Together, they make up about 1/3 of the entire world's population.
