Question

🙂Hi guys, do you have some advices how to learn writing on a keyboard with all ten fingers? How long does it take to learn. I want to learn it, because i hate when I have to look at my keyboard and my writing is too slow.

Speed comes with practice. To write with all your fingers my advice is to learn to position your hands on the keyboard and write like that every day (no matter how slow you are at first). At one point you will do it without realizing it (what is known as muscle memory).

The problematic of the habit is when you use a different keyboard. I suffer with the keyboards of some laptops to write (my fingers are too big), also with some models that do not have a traditional design.

Just keep using the computer for writing, you will learn those kind of stuff with time.

Also you can try "Typing Magic" app from Windows Store. (If you are using Windows 10)

There are many websites that have typing courses and whatnot to improve your typing ability, try looking up 'typing tutorial'. Here are a couple good ones:

and pick a fight.

It is a super handy skill and I highly recommend to take the time an learn it properly. I took a course when I learned it (with an actual type writer 😂).

When you practice do yourself a favour and do not look at your fingers.

The course took about 2 months, 1 evening a week. Speed came later.
If you use one of the above mentioned progamms and practice a little daily you should quickly get results.
