[OFF-TOPIC]Why is (a-b)^2=(b-a)^2?
Pls. explain..For example (2-1)^2=(1-2)^2=1

It's the simpliest math you can get.
x^2 is either x*x or (-x) * (-x)

Just expand the algebraic expression on both sides and you will arrive at the conclusion. š

because of : b-a = (-1)*(a-b)
(b-a)^2 = ((-1)*(a-b))^2 = (-1)^2 * (a-b)^2= 1 * (a-b)^2 = (a-b)^2

To add something to @Jakub's answer:
(a-b) = (-b + a) = -(b-a)
so: (a-b) = -(b-a)
square them and the results are the same

x^2= x*x
(a-b)=(-b+a)=-1(b-a)
x=-1(b-a)
x^2= -1(b-a) * -1(b-a) = -1^2 * (b-a)^2 = 1 * (b-a)^2= (b-a)^2
when
(a-b)^2 = -1(b-a)^2 = (b-a)^2
