How is Java Script different from SQL?

They are nothing the same. JavaScript adds functionality to your web code, while SQL helps with the database.

Judging by your profile, you havenā€™t had anything to do with JavaScript or SQL, correct? So, I would advise you to finish CSS, then go for JavaScript. After this, if you wish to continue web dev, go for PHP and SQL. I canā€™t really explain how it helps with a database to you because Itā€™s very complicated. šŸ˜‚ I usually donā€™t get it.

JavaScript is a coding language where SQL is a query language. SQL I would say is closer to HTML in that HTML isn't a programming language but a markup language. SQL allows you to select data from a database using tables columns etc. JavaScript would allow you to do almost anything in the programming world your mind could dream up. I hope that helps.
