Although not required, having a clear understanding of trig functions comes in handy for 2D/3D game development.

Basic knowledge in Maths is enough. One can learn more if required during learning Programming. A lot of very helpful study materials on Maths are now available online.

It depends on the area of programming, data science or AI may need more maths, and often embedded programming, but web design needs hardly any. Play to your strengths â˜ș

I think only the basics of maths are required for programming, but it depends about the programming purposes.
