Everyone here loses sometimes. No one has zero losses. Even some experienced users make mistakes, because it's very hard to know all the nuances of a programming language. Keep practicing, read books, make your own small projects and you will get better.

Do you mean player-vs-player challenges? I'd suggest you to review those questions carefully (It's a shame that we can't directly run them in the code playground yet--we have to type them ourselves). Try to analyze each step. Print intermediate stages, modify them, keep playing until you understand it inside out. You can ask us in the Q&A for help understanding a problem or google specific keywords for elaboration. And don't worry too much if you get a low score. XP doesn't really mean anything, and mistakes are just learning opportunities 😊
