Android studio project files getting overwrittten by the apache license

Question

Recently, each time I open my Android Studio project all my classes, layouts, styles, gradle (all files in general) keep getting overwritten by the text displayed in the images (some of the many) but when I run my project, the application doesn't seem to be affected.

Luckily I have a backup stored on GitHub but it kinda is becoming a nuisance to constantly restore my project.

Please help me, how can I fix this issue ? :(

Try with "Invalidate caches & Restart" in "File"....

I once had a problem with the R class, the compiler kept saying it does not exist....

Also, update everything and restart

Ive already tried that with no luck. Its now affecting my other android studio project X( and its also messing with my gradle files ...

I believe this all started few weeks after i updated my android studio to the latest version 3.2.1
